Golden Monkey tea or Jin Hou comes from the Fujian province of China. It grows in altitudes of 1200 meters and is hand picked in early spring. Only the top bud and first leaf are picked and hand crafted into the shape of a monkey’s paw.  It is one of the finest black teas with complex, non astringent flavors.  Excellent tea for enjoying multiple steeps.  If you want to dazzle or impress, serve it Gong Fu style.
