Our Organic Matcha is grown in Toyota and Kagoshima areas of Japan. High up in the mountains at 600m sea level, in cooler climates and mineral-rich volcanic soil.  It is shade grown, hand picked and slowly stone ground on granite mills, producing a bright emerald green color with intense flavor and high nutritional value.  It takes about 1 hour to grind 30-40 grams of Matcha.
