We import some of the finest Matcha from the Aichi prefecture in Nishio Japan. The tea leaf is shade grown, hand picked, devained, and slowly milled on granite grinding stones. It takes one hour to mill 30-40 grams of Matcha powder. The granite milling preserves its rich emerald green color, intense flavor and nutritional value. It has the highest antioxidant content that you can get from the tea leaf; Matcha contains higher antioxidant levels on a per gram basis than any other known natural fruits or vegetables.
